March 29 2007

So here I am at the end of day two and wow it felt like two full days all in one. When I set my alarm for 8 am (1 am canadian time) last night I thought I would be sleeping in... but every one was still sleeping. I figured I would just roll over and sleep some more when about 4 other cell phones went off. So I followed the flow and got up.. It took a while. I dont know if it was jetleg or a general case of lazieness.
When I finally did get my day pack all organized (making it a hella lot lighter) I went down for breakfast, as a huge effort not to make my mom worry any more than she has to I figured the least I could do was eat right.mmm... toast. The after consalting with my map, my map, my europe book, my map and the guy at the frount desk, I figured I venture to find the USIT building. after turning right after he said to turn left i found it in less that 5 minuts. call it luck~? I all it Briliance! While I was waiting for the center to open I met a girl named Hannah.Shes from Argenteana and she has been here for 2 weeks. We hit it off and after we were done at USIT we went out for lunch.
She invited me to come with her and her friend Pedro to the museun. Going witht the reason I am here, I accepted. The Ierland National Museum was excelent. I had a great time. sooo much history and the building itself was beautifull.I was dissapointed to learn that here all the main tourest attractions dont let camaras on the premisses. After that Hannah and I went phone shoping. It was hard I thought contacting canada was soposed to be easy. But its kindda the same as back home.I had to buy the phone for like over 100 $ Oh well im excited that by tomorrow I'll be abley to contact people. After that I went back to USIT I started to look for places to live. I found one that sounds perfect and Im going to look at it tomorrow.keep your fingers crossed for me and that woud be perfect. after that I disided to call it a day.
When I got back to my dorm I thought I'd hook up my phone and just hang out . but when I got there Vivian a girl I met last nigth told me her and Carolie were going to check out Trinity College (a city with in a city) I tagged along on another invite. It s was stunning in there. The grass was so green and the trees were sooo old.I talked them to going and seeing the Book of Kells with me witch is kept by the Universtity in the old Library. 7 euro but it was totally worth it. The book was fantastic, written in Galic Caligrphy. I had to drool the skill was absolutly admirable. The end of the tour took us to the old library its sellf. "Breathtaking" and that wasnt just the smell of thousands of hundred years old books. I couldnt emajin keeping track of that many. Then ofcorse the gift shop. When we left we ran in to Jessie and Katherien from last night aswell. They were going to st. patrick Cathedral (omg i cant spell :( .) To listen to the choir sing the Eveningsong. The cherch was well... a big beautiful old cherch. When that was done we went out for Vietmenies food. Yes Im getting out there and trying new food, sure I had chicken mind you but thats not the point! After that they wanted crapes. I disided that that would have to wait. Toddar and I had plans for forever that we would go get profesional good crapes one day and we never ended up doing it. Soo.... I said my good byes and headded to the hostel. payed again for half an hours worth of internet with no messanger.all in all I've spent like 15 euro for an hour this is retarded! Where are these cafes that are soposed to be every where. that i can get 1 hour for 1 euro?! any way I answered the e-mails form my mom , E-mailing Chantelle back will have to wait untill tomorrow :( I got to my room early but I got my phone up and in the chrager (thier soo wierd here) and i talked to the guys in my dorm. Now im in my pj's tucked in and going to get an early start on sleep. I have oriantation tomorrow morning and then I look at that house at 6:45. then who knows what else.
