(OK so this is th firs time that I'm going to blog without writing it all down in my journal first here I go...) So today I woke up at 10:00 officially the first time I've slept in since leaving home. It felt good I guess but it felt weird that I didn't have anything that I desperately had to get done! So I got up and had breakfast while I tried to figure out what to do with myself today. The answer came in to form of my room mate Whitany, who I seem to like the more and more I'm around her. She was taking her buddies out on the town to see some sites and asked if I wanted to come along. I know that I probably should have declined and let her spend the day with her friends but I couldn't pass it up! So we got ready and the 4 of us left the house. We decided that we'd go see the old jail that we heard Trevor talking about , we'd go to the zoo and to the Guinness factory. When we got to the jail it was kinda disappointing to find out that it wasn't an old jail as opposed to a jail that people were still in, and because we didn't know any Irish convicts to go and visit we were denied entry. Darn! but we went to the old grave yard that wasn't to far away. It was very old and was actually quite pretty. Then we made our way to the zoo. the zoo is located in the Dublin park, and its actually the largest park in the world! it was BEAUTIFUL!!! The day was nice as well witch didn't hurt at all except when we had a long line up to get out tickets. 14 euro and we were in... what else can I say. it was a zoo... lottsa monkeys just like back home and i got to see Tigers really up close and that made me soo happy! The elephants wern't there. but other than that it had everything that a zoo would normally have. BY the time we got out of there it was to late to go to the factory so we are going to go Saturday. We took the long way home, we picked up pizza to cook in our oven.After a day like today we were starved. Then we got ready to go out to a birthday party. Where I met Brianne She just turned "23" and it cool because shes from Edmonton.. Clairview to be exact. We stayed at her place witch was really nice and then went out to the pubs. Everything closes at midnight tonight because of good friday. and nothing opens again untill saturday morning at midnight. They are strictly catholic here.But we hit 2 pubs I had 5 beer and 2 shots. we sang Irish songs witch I must say are interesting and had a great time. Before heading home We stopped off and had the biggest pice of pizza Ive ever seen !!! mmmm.... pizza. Then home and then bed. Not a bad day I'm thinking.
